Entourage X pop 3 access for google apps
1. Enable POP in Gmail.
2. Open Entourage.
3. Click ‘Tools,’ and select ‘Account Settings…’
4. Click ‘New.’ (If you receive the ‘Account Setup Assistant,’ click ‘Configure account manually.’)
5. Select ‘POP’ next to ‘Account type:,’ and click ‘OK.’
6. Enter a name for your new account in the ‘Account Name:’ field.
7. Enter your full name in the ‘Your Name:’ field.
8. Enter your full email address (username@gmail.com) in the ‘Email Address:’ field. Google Apps users, enter your full address in the format ‘username@your_domain.com.’
9. Enter your full email address (including ‘@gmail.com’ or ‘@your_domain.com’) in the ‘Account ID’ field.
10. Enter ‘pop.gmail.com’ in the ‘Incoming Mail Server:’ field. Google Apps users, enter the server names provided, don’t add your domain name in this step.
11. Click ‘Click here for advanced receiving options’ in the ‘Receiving mail’ section.
12. Check the box next to ‘This POP service requires a secure connection (SSL).’
13. Enter your email password in the ‘Your Password:’ field.
14. Enter ‘smtp.gmail.com’ in the ‘Outgoing Mail Server:’ field.
15. Click ‘Click here for advanced sending options’ in the ‘Sending mail’ section.
16. Check the box next to ‘SMTP service requires secure connection (SSL), ‘ and click ‘OK.’
17. Check the box next to ‘Override default SMTP port:,’ and enter ’465′ in the box.
18. Check the box next to ‘SMTP server requires authentication,’ and click ‘OK.’
