• How do i make sure my business/church/organization shows up on the first page of google?
  Short answer: You can't
  Long answer: A lot of hard work like being a productive member of "web" society, updating your website with current / relevent information that people want.
  You have to think from a users perspective - What you have may be important to you, but 98% of the people searching would not find your website useful or helpful. If you make it useful and helpful, you'll have a better chance of being found on search engines.
  
  
• Why can't I get my business/church/organization to show up on the first page of google?
  Well because there are over 29.7 billion web pages on the internet
  the good news is that not all of them what to attract the same audience that you do, so basically just get good at what you do and you have a better chance of becoming popular. No guarantee, but a better chance none the less.
  
  
• Is there anything I can do to help my website show up in search engines?
  yes here's a couple of options Not definative by any means
  
  • use a SEO (search engine optimization) expert such as my friend Brian Wallace over at Now Sourcing.
    He's really good at increasing traffic to sites.

  • Use google Adwords to basically "Buy the right" for your name to show up in search results
